Title: Supplementary Data for Figure 5 – TANGO Target Selection Scenarios

Paper: Assessing the Detection Potential of Targeting Satellites for Global Greenhouse Gas Monitoring: Insights from TANGO Simulations by Charuvil Asokan et al.

Description:
This supplementary dataset contains satellite target selection outputs for anthropogenic CO2 and CH4 emission sources simulated on 2022-03-22 under three cloud scenarios using the TANGO mission simulation pipeline.

The three NetCDF files correspond to:
1. `Supplement_Clearsky_2022-03-22_priority_CO2.nc` – Ideal clear-sky condition
2. `Supplement_Cloud-Filtered_2022-03-22_priority_CO2.nc` – Without forecast-based filtering
3. `Supplement_Cloud_Forecast_2022-03-22_priority_CO2.nc` – With forecast-informed cloud avoidance

Each file contains the following variables:
- `Source_Latitude` [degrees_north] – Latitude of emission source
- `Source_Longitude` [degrees_east] – Longitude of emission source
- `Overpass_Time_sec` [seconds since midnight] – Satellite overpass time
- `CH4_Emission` [kt/year] – Annual methane emissions
- `CH4_Sector` – Emission sector (short code with description in attributes)
- `CO2_Emission` [Mt/year] – Annual carbon dioxide emissions
- `CO2_Sector` – Emission sector (short code with description in attributes)

Sector code descriptions are included as variable attributes in the files.
